There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

Hi,

I have quit some experience with SQL Server 2008 BI projects, but I am not a system administrator.

I just installed a trial version of SQL Server 2012 on my laptop (Windows 7) in order to figure out how the new Analysis Services Tabular works. All seems to be working fine (Management Studio, Visual Studio, ...) but"Import from datasource" ends with the error below.

I can connect to my server (test connection succeeds using Windows Authentication), as impersonation information I tried both a specific Windows user (with access to the database) as Service Account, and I select one table from the database.

This is the error I get:

The following system error occurred: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of '606e89c6-610c-4bc9-9f61-b37b6e0eba3d', Name of 'SqlServer HP620FRANKSQLSERVER TestFrank 4'.

An error occurred while processing the partition 'FSC_OmzetPerKlantPerSemesterPerShop_3ea8047f-544b-4681-b3f5-cc7eb35b0fb8' in table 'FSC_OmzetPerKlantPerSemesterPerShop_3ea8047f-544b-4681-b3f5-cc7eb35b0fb8'.

The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.

I also tried to use an ODBC connection to the same (local) database but I get the same error.

Looking forward to some help!

Kind regards.
