I live in Australia. I have an evaluation edition of SQL Server 2008 R2 which has expired and I want to licence it for development work. As directed I went to the web site advised by SQL Server (your web site won't let me enter the link) and
was directed to Microsoft Pty. Limited 1 Epping, phone 132058. The first person to whom I spoke did not understand the name of the product, and I was transferred to a second person and subsequently a third person (Support somewhere in the USA). At that
time I gave up. Can you tell me how I can get a licence to use SQL Server 2008 R2 for development work. If that is not possible then I am willing to look at a later version of SQL Server.
