MODEL database Simple

Hi All,

In one of our servers, the MODEL database is set to SIMPLE recovery model and as result  log backup job failed and I notified the customer that this is failing due to MODEL database is in SIMPLE recovery model and without altering to FULL recovery model we can't fix this issue.

Now customer wants it to be  keeping it in SIMPLE recovery mode and to fix the issue, is it possible in anyway without altering it to FULL recovery model ,please let me know.
