Hi,
I've done a number of SQL 2008R2 installs before and have never had a problem, however today I have had to install on Windows server 2012 (argh!!!) and can't seem to get connections from my local SSMS.
I have enabled connections, checked the port is not blocked - all ok. Anything else to check?
