I'm a developer new to SQLServer. My customer wants me to help them use database audit. What they want is to save everthing about when a data was inserted, deleted or updated. What the old value was, time etc.
I guess Audit is the answer to this, the problem is that they use SQLServer 2008 R2 Standard Edition. It seems like the standard edition do not support Audit. How do we do then?
I also wonder, if we have a license with a product key for SQLServer, are they entitled to support then, or is support something you have to buy?
