I want to know that i'm developing a website. In that website i was thinking to use XML files instead of SQL Server cause speed matters a lot in that website.
I was thinking to load all of the data into a Static List and then use that list. Apply queries on those lists. Would it be faster than SQL Server?
These are Static Lists so these lists would be populated only once and then every time user comes the list would not be created over and over?
If these things won't work then can anybody tell me how to load XML data into SQL tables. I have created all of the database structure already in SQL Server.
