Hello Friends

Actually i have 2 SQL Server both of them are SQL Server 2005 Standard SP2 X86.  One of them has a linked server configured to the other.  Sporadically we have a query a "select * from" that is affecting the performance from the server that is linked.  When appears this case usually we executing a SQL Profiler but this doesn't show really the application that executes this. Just it shows the user, and in Application name column it only shows Microsoft SQL Server

So,  Exists a special configuration for identify the service or the exe that is provocating this?  Exists an aditional tool that tell me more details?

Is very important telling that Database that i need monitoring has a copatibility 80 (SQL Server 2000)

Please help me with this

Thanks in advance.
