I've been trying to determine which is the appropriate ODBC driver to use on a Windows 10 machine to connect to a SQL Server 2014 instance. There are the "ODBC Driver 11 for SQL Server" and the "Native Client 11.0" drivers available to me.
According to the specifications outlined for the "ODBC Driver 11 for SQL Server", it's not officially supported on Windows 10. However, all the information I can find on it indicates that it's the replacement for the Native Client series of drivers.
Which should I use?
