Anyone can help on how I can do capacity planning in SQL server 2016 (Enterprise Edition) ? Is there any template that you can share for sizing of CPU, RAM and Disk.
Assume that I already have these info:
1 | Data volume to be ingested into SQL Server per day? | |||

3 | Year on year data growth? | |||
4 | Estimated number of active user queries? | |||
5 | Average Query Response time desired? | |||
6 | Percentage of Data to be queried? | |||
7 | Number of transaction per day | |||
8 | What type of application is connected to the database | |||
9 | Total number of applications connected to the database | |||
10 | Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS) | |||
