Hi All.
The organisation I work for has an ERP system that is running off SQL Server 2012. The SQL Server Agent does not want to start. If you start the Agent it starts and then stops with a message saying that some services stop automatically if they are not in use.
I have checked the login credentials for the service and it is using the local administrator account on the server and the account has the sysadmin role in SQL. The server is running Server 2012 R2 Std edition. and Sql Server 2012.
The server was once a domain controller and running AD services but that has since been removed and the server has been removed from the domain. Not sure if that may have anything to do with it.
