sys.dm_db_index_physical_stats "Detailed" take long time

Hi experts,

For index maintenance, i used Detailed mode to populate the fragmentation percent,but detailed mode is taking longer than expected, Its running for more than one hour.

if i any other mode such as sampled or limited, will i able to do the same or atleast near by to cover all the indexes.
