Just had a deadlock on a production server, the culprit was IX and the victim S. Does this sound correct? I would have thought that the shared lock could not contribute to a deadlock. This is my output from RedGate monitor, I've blanked out the table names (both the same) but I'm slightly confused as when I run
select Object_Name(1125265647)SELECT OBJECT_NAME(2049076919)
It reports back two different tables.
