We recently upgraded from SSMS 2008 to SSMS 2014 - I just got my access about 15 minutes ago. In SSMS 08, I had the tollbox dialogs all set to auto hide and the windows would smoothly move in and out as they received or lost focus.
But, with SSMS 14, they just snap into and out of view. That's rather disconcerting and annoying.
I seem to recall that my old VB6 had a setting to either snap hidden windows in and out of view or to have them slide, but I have not discovered any similar setting for SSMS 14.
Is there a setting to tell SSMS to gently slide windows, rather than snap them in place?
