Hi,
I'm learning .NET developing so I'm not DBA, I've installed Windows 10 and visual studio, but going to download SQL (any related SQL program) is pain. What I need to download is just SQL Server, and SQL Server Management Studio, right? because I found other SQL downloads I couldn't understand their uses. I already downloaded and installed SSMS. I found two links to download SQL Server: this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52679
When I run it, it ends with this screen (my internet connection is stable though):
the second link is this: https://my.visualstudio.com/downloads?q=sql%20server%20developer (first result)
this is a developer version and comes in ISO file which is more easy to download and install. but does it get the jop done in my case (as a .NET developer) or I should install the Express edition?
Is there an ISO file for the Express edition?
Thanks, and sorry for lengthy.
