Hi,
Till now I don't have much data on a Database, but I have come to the conclusion that oneshould use the Cascade featured keys. Is that right? I would be needing to change a lot of Primary Keys in lots of tables, being referred to by lots of other tables.
For instance, I have over a million records to be inserted in the Sales Table, but with Product Codes missing, for the time being, which are necessary to be connected to the Product Table by the Sales Table, later on. I have to find out the codes later on and rectify the same, so I intend to use Dumb Product IDs for the time being for missing data.
1. First of all, what would be your suggestion?
2. What are the major benefits/disadvantages of Cascade features?
3. How to convert the Current Keys in the SQL Database structure to the Cascaded ones?
Thanks
