Here's a really silly question, and one that I had never thought of before because I've never made this mistake:
I was doing some work on a database. I was looking for a specific stored procedure, but didn't use the filter. I was using the touchpad on my laptop, and my thumb made one specific stored procedure highlight, and when I pressed a key without looking it renamed the sp to that keystroke.
I had no idea how to get the original name back of the sp because I didn't know what sp it actually was! What I had to do was look at a copy of that database which had been made on a test system. I found where that particular sp would be, and changed the name to what it should be.
Okay, but let's say I didn't have a copy. Would I have to restore that sp from backup? There has to be an easier way, right?
