migration assistant question

Hello,

I have a database on MS SQL 2008 R2 but with compatibility mode 80. I dont see a reason in having this changed to  100. However I ran the upgrade advisor against this instance and this database and got no warnings or errors. I dont have DMA installed on this instance and it wont allow me to download and there are no other database servers. My question is would the results of DMA be different from upgrade advisor? I would definitely share the results of upgrade advisor with app teams however would running an upgrade advisor be enough to change the compatibility level from 80 to 100?

Thanks
