Does Azure SQL IaaS using Azure backups (on the IaaS blade) save automatically to a vault?
We do not want to create a DPM server or another backup server. Does a MARS server need to be created to use a vault to store backups? We are wanting to make SQL aware backups so will a MARS backup be SQL aware?
What is the recommended method to do automated backups and restores for IaaS SQL? Can the site and recovery vault that is used for the backups? During the creation of a SQL server the configuration
of SQL requests backups option with vault information requested,... is this information from the SQL site recovery vault?.
Just want to confirm that the key "vault" is used for storing the key for accessing a vault? How is this key created for the vault which stores backups? This key vault is not used for storing backups?
