What does rolling backup mean? Does that say, just 3 days backup including todays backup needs to be retained?
We have cleanup task set to delete files older than 3 days. But as the task checks for the file's age during the task run time & checks the file's last modified date, its failing to delete files.
eg: we have a backup job, that performs cleanup followed by backup. The cleanup task has executed today at 3AM, but we have 4 files dated from Sep 6th -9th available in the drive now. The Sep 6th backup file has last modified date as Sep 6th 4AM.
So I guess, that's the reason the Sep 6th file is not deleted.
