How to conclude MAX DOP Value manually without script

To solve the Parallelism issue, we must put correct value of MAX DOP 

I use script to know that value

But I want to calculate that value as per windows server CPU and NUMA 

SO can anyone help me here to conclude that value manually i.e. without script
