I am trying to install Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client on my machine to start working with ASP.NET Core and I came across a problem that I am trying for 2 days, trying to solve and can't.
My operating system is Windows 10 64bits
I was installing ASP.NET CORE there all ok ...
boy when I went to install Microsoft SQL Server Manegement Studio
Then this error appeared:
As I searched for SQL Server 2012 Native Client and install it too:
"Installation failed
Fatal error during installation (0x80070643)
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client: There is a problem with this Windows package
Installer A DLL required to complete this installation could not be executed.
Contact the support team or package vendor."
afeter it i try install Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client SO:...
"Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client Setup
There is a Problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this installation to
complete could not be run. Contact you suport personnel or package vendor."
And so on December 17, 1919 my hours were to try to solve this problem and not succeed. I'll highlight here or what I've done to see if anyone knows how to help me.
1. I already installed everything and the problem continued
2. I already tried to install other versions and I can't finish
3. already tried to install by the power shell and will not
4. already update my windows to see and the same error continues
5. I already installed Windows Installer and tried to change (but it is already disabled by default) and then stopped, applied and retried SQL SQL Native Native and the error continued.
The worst thing is that it does not show which unfortunate DLL it is talking about, it shows these errors and does not record the same thing. and no talcisa.DLL to be found (if there are any DLLs)
