Not sure if this is the right forum so forgive me if not.
SQL Server 2014 SP1 and SCOM 2012 R2 monitors the SQL cluster of 2 members. I am getting a notification from SCOM on the SQL server/DB:
Page Life Expectancy of SQL instance "MSSQL Instance" on computer "cluster object.domain.tld" is too low
I run some PLE counter code found on the internet and get:
You can see that i had to reboot the server last night and the PLE at 184 seems really low to me (that's right at 3 minutes!!!!).The 2 SQL servers are VM's in hyper-V 2012 R2 using dynamic RAM:
The SQL cluster/instance houses WSUS, ePOSRV (mcafee), and SCOM DB's which have been unaltered by me so i wonder if this is a RAM issue? Any ideas how to approach this?
